What Is The Most Populated Local Government In Ogun State?
The largest local government in Ogun State by population is Ifo Local Government Area. According to the 2025 population projection, Ifo had a population of 962,850 people.
This makes it one of the most populated areas in the state. However, the local government is made up of several communities, including Ifo, Agbado, Giwa Oke Aro, Akute Ajuwon, Ibogun, Coker Ilepa, Ibaragun, Lemode, Robiyan, Ope Ilu, and Itoki.

What Is The Biggest Local Government In Ogun State?
By land mass, the biggest local government in Ogun State, Nigeria, is Ijebu East Local Government Area (LGA). This local government covers a large area of 2,234 square kilometers.
It is an important part of Ogun State, both in size and administration. Ijebu East is located in the eastern part of Ijebu land, and it shares borders with Lagos State and the Lagos Lagoon to the south.
